This page is for members and admins. Kaveh can answer questions anywhere, and you can also give it one channel where it joins the conversation on its own.

Set up a chat room (admins)
A chat room is one channel where Kaveh joins in naturally. In the dashboard open Chat Room, or use the commands:

/chat room disable- Reply chance is how likely Kaveh is to answer a message in that channel. 0.08 means roughly one message in twelve. Messages that mention Kaveh don't need luck.
- Follow-up (30 to 3600 seconds) is how long Kaveh keeps replying after someone talks to it directly.
- Shortest gap is the least time between two of its messages, so it can't flood the channel.
Start low. You can always raise it. A quiet server does well with 0.05 to 0.08, a busy one with 0.10 to 0.18.
What to know
- Conversations run on a model hosted by whoever runs Kaveh, not on a third-party AI service.
- Replies pass a safety filter. Kaveh is a safe-content bot.
- Each member can clear their own history with
/chat clear, and/privacycan erase it too.
