Kaveh Appearance
What each module does
Kaveh is split into modules. This page is a short tour for anyone deciding what to turn on. Each module has its own page with the details.
Every module can be switched on or off per server in the dashboard's Overview. Switching one off hides it and stops it working, but keeps what's stored, so switching it back on restores everything.
Keeping the server tidy
Moderation. Warn, time out, kick and ban, with a case file for every member, private staff notes and strikes that escalate on their own. Automod catches spam, mention floods, blocked words and unwanted links. Members can appeal a decision. Read more
Logging. Kaveh records what happens (edits, deletes, joins, leaves, moderation actions) in the channels you choose. Keep it all in one channel or split it by kind. Read more
Talking with your members
Modmail. Members message Kaveh privately and staff get a private channel for the conversation. Reply as yourself or anonymously, tag and prioritise conversations, and keep a searchable transcript with pictures. You can also reply from the dashboard. For staff and for members
Welcome and boosters. Greet new members, give them a starting role, and thank people who boost the server. Welcome and boosters
Suggestions. Members post ideas, others vote, and staff mark them accepted or declined. Read more
Chat. Members can ask Kaveh anything with /chat ask, and you can give it one channel where it joins the conversation. Answers come from a model the Kaveh developer hosts, and replies pass a safety filter. Read more
Rewarding members
Levels and profiles. Members earn XP for chatting and for time in voice channels, level up, and earn roles and badges. Each member has a rank card with a title and a theme they choose. Servers can set XP multipliers, reward roles, rank titles and a leaderboard. For admins and for members
Starboard. Messages that collect enough star reactions are pinned to a showcase channel. Read more
Verification. Optional and off by default. New members press a button in one channel to get the Member role, so the rest of the server is theirs only once they have. Read more
Economy. Optional and off by default. Members earn coins by chatting, a daily reward and word games in chat, and spend them on roles in a shop. Read more
Everyday extras
Music. Play songs and radio in voice channels, with a queue, looping and volume. Spotify and Apple Music links are turned into searches. Read more
Fun. Small games and image commands. Info. Server and member information, and the Embed Builder for posting rich messages from the dashboard.
