Music
This page is for everyone in a server that uses Kaveh. Kaveh plays music in voice channels: you queue songs, it joins your channel, and everyone listens together.
Play something
- Join a voice channel.

Kaveh joins your channel by itself. For buttons instead of commands, use /music player.

Where music comes from
YouTube searches and links work, and so do SoundCloud and several other public sources. Spotify and Apple Music links are turned into searches: Kaveh reads the track or playlist and plays the closest match from a playable source, so it may not be the exact recording. Large playlists are capped so one link can't fill the queue.
Radio
Radio keeps the queue topped up so the music never stops:

When Kaveh leaves
Kaveh doesn't stay in a voice channel forever. If everyone leaves, it disconnects after 2 minutes and clears the queue. If the queue ends and nothing new starts, it leaves after 5 minutes. Someone coming back, or a new /music play, cancels the timer.
For admins: permissions
Kaveh needs Connect, Speak and Use Voice Activity in the voice channel. Without them it joins and stays silent, or can't join.
If it doesn't work
- It joins but there's no sound. Check the voice permissions above.
- It says it found the song but nothing plays. This is almost always YouTube changing something, and the person who runs Kaveh has to update it. Try a SoundCloud link: if that plays, your server is fine.
- Nothing is found at all. The music service may be down. See Troubleshooting.
