Getting help

Kaveh is made and run by one developer, so the fastest way to get an answer is to tell them what they need to find the problem.

Try these first

1. Look in the FAQ and Troubleshooting.
2. If you're a server admin, run /setup status verify:true. It catches missing channels, roles and permissions.
3. Check What Kaveh doesn't do yet. The thing you want may not be built.

Report a problem

Join the Kaveh support server and post in the help channel. Include:

• What you ran, for example /modmail close, and the text of any error.
• What you expected and what happened instead.
• When it happened, with your timezone, so it can be matched to the logs.
• Whether you're a server admin or a member.

Never post tokens, passwords or private conversations. You don't need them to get help.

Your data

• To see or erase your own data, use /privacy export and /privacy delete in Discord. Nobody has to approve it.
• For anything else, such as a question about what your server has stored, join the support server and message a moderator, who will move it to a private conversation. Please don't post private details in public channels.

Suggest an idea

Tell the support server what problem you're trying to solve, not only the feature you have in mind. Small, focused requests have the best chance.
